Alive and Well
Alive and Well is a wellness center that brings together a range of health treatments and resources in a setting that feels more like a hospitality space than a clinical facility. Located on the second floor of The Terminal at Katy Trail, the design balances the building’s large arched windows and expansive views with quieter, more private spaces for treatment and recovery.

The wellness center brings together a wide range of uses, including cold plunges, saunas, massage, hyperbaric treatment, red light therapy, a pharmacy, and meditation space. Organizing these different programs was central to the design, creating a natural flow between spaces while allowing each treatment to have its own setting.

The space occupies a distinctive position within The Terminal at Katy Trail, with large arched windows overlooking the surrounding area. The design makes use of these views while creating quieter, more enclosed spaces where visitors can focus on treatments and step away from the activity of the larger facility.
The interiors were developed around the contrast between shared spaces and more private treatment areas. The result is a wellness center that feels open and connected to its surroundings while providing quieter places to rest, recover, and spend time.
